The long nose on these models is difficult to judge while parking nose first and they frequently make contact with curbs or other obstacles. The result is a badly scarred front air dam (bumper) or possibly worse depending upon the degree of impact.
We have designed a very effective set of accessories that will protect the air dam from damage from these parking mishaps.
The two "points" where our polished guards are positioned, are the areas that take the initial hit since they project further out and are lower than the rest of the air dam. Should the bottom of the air dam ride up over the curb, it damages the underside of the bumper, although it can't be seen, most owners still don't like to have damage there. Our alloy protective plate prevents damage to the underside of the fiberglass air dam (bumper) assembly. The plate uses the two existing screws for installation and installation time is approximately 10 minutes total for both sides.
The polished alloy "nose guards" can be sanded and repaired as long as they are not too badly damaged. They can also be painted the color of your choice. We can supply a new set of the nose guards for $25.00 + S&H
